Me!
Hello there! My name is Ranjana Anne Iyengar, and I created this site to better communicate with my clients and students, and to expand my tutoring career. I currently live in Palo Alto, CA, and am a one-on-one, in-home tutor to grades 6-12 students in the south Bay Area. I recently earned a B.S. in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara, and am currently pursuing a career certificate in Biotechnology from Foothill College. I am fascinated by life sciences and am particularly interested in developmental neurobiology research. My other academic interests include neuropharmacology and astrobiology. I am also interested in the use of virtual environments as a research tool and have spent over a year as a VE researcher at both UC Santa Barbara and Stanford University.
When not tutoring or in the lab, I enjoy reading British mysteries, posting book reviews over at Readhead Reviews, knitting, solving mechanical puzzles, and playing with Morse, my yellow Labrador retriever.
